...Your Time         ...Your Place           ...Your Day          ...Your Way

Weddings come in all shapes and sizes.
They're all beautiful and I enjoy officiating at every one of them.

Whether large or small, formal or casual, planned a year in advance or a spontaneous elopement in Central Park, each ceremony is as special, meaningful and important as the other.

There are also differences in the feel of each wedding.  You may be planning a
secular wedding.  A secular ceremony generally has no religious or spiritual content or rituals.  Songs, readings and unity ceremonies can all add to the ceremony to make for a beautiful, meaningful service.

A
spiritual wedding, on the other hand, might focus on elements that come from nature, and  include a handfasting ceremony or the blessing of the four winds.  The word "spiritual" means different things to different people; there is no right or wrong.  In this type of service, you choose the elements that appeal to your spiritual selves, which may mean celebrating culture, family and friends, or past and future experiences.

A religious wedding may include readings from your religion's holy book, prayers and blessings.  A religious wedding could also be a combination of any number of rituals and traditions from two or more religions, joined as one in your ceremony to make it completely unique.  Many couples who decide to have a secular or spiritual ceremony still opt to include a blessing on their marriage, but that's up to you.

Of course, you can blend religious, spiritual and secular elements into your wedding.   There is a wide variety of ceremonial possibilities we could explore, or we can create something completely different for the most personalized event.

The creation of your wedding ceremony is an opportunity for both of you to express how you feel about each other and your marriage.  You decide how you want to publicly proclaim your love and committment.  You decide how much involvement you want to have at every stage of the ceremony creation.

I look forward to working with you to compose a ceremony that speaks from your hearts to the hearts of all those who witness it.

Elopement Ceremonies
-
Do you want to get married intimately and economically, yet in
a lovely setting with a beautiful ceremony?   I would be honored to officiate your wedding in my home in Westchester County, NY, for $150.

You can choose to be married indoors or outside on the deck and bring two people with you.  Your loving, romantic ceremony is already written and you can choose whether or not you'd like me ask God's blessing on your marriage.

This ceremony format may be perfect for you.  Are you trying to save money?  Do you prefer intimate gatherings to large parties?  Are you having a family wedding and just want the two of you and your children to participate?  Maybe this isn't a first marriage for one or both of you and committing to each other quietly is all you want.  Or perhaps you'd like to get married on short notice.

For whatever reason you decide to enjoy a small, intimate wedding, I'll make sure it's a day to remember.

Music and
a sparkling juice toast are included.  From beginning to end, we'll be together about forty-five minutes.  I ask that you arrive all together no more than ten minutes before the scheduled ceremony.

I love officiating intimate elopements and will enjoy giving your ceremony all the attention, care and warmth you deserve on your big day.

Call me today.  I'd love to talk to you.

PEACE OF MIND on Your Wedding Day

The wedding day is typically a day of heightened emotions and expectations. Your dreams of a perfect wedding day rest, in large part, upon the skill and experience of your wedding minister. It is NOT a given.

When you are facing each other to share your wedding vows, it is a moment of profound intimacy. Unlike any other moment in your lifetime, your souls are exposed and vulnerable. It is an incredibly sacred moment.

Your WM Certified officiant is thoroughly trained to discern the dynamics of this incomparable moment and channel all the built-up energy, emotions, and events into one, unforgetable symphony of Beauty and Love. Because you feel so safe with your WM Certified officiant, you can let go and embrace the moment with all your heart and soul, knowing you are in the hands of a caring professional. Peace of mind.
